Evelyn R. Todd

Beaver, PA

Evelyn Rose Todd, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her children. Born on October 22, 1930, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Harold A. and Vera Gilmore Sohn. Affectionately known as “PeeWee” to family and friends, Evelyn graduated from Hopewell High School in 1948. In 1954 she became the first bride married in the newly built Scottsville Presbyterian Church. She and her family later settled in Beaver, Pennsylvania, where she raised her children and made her home until moving to Indiana, Pennsylvania, in 2018.

Throughout her life Evelyn remained deeply committed to her faith and served many years as an Elder at Raccoon United Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the kindness she extended to everyone around her. Above all, she cherished time spent with family and friends, finding her greatest joy in their presence.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eugene Todd; her in-laws, Waymon and LaVaughn Todd; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Denise Graham Todd. She was the last surviving member of her family’s generation.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Todd (Joseph) Kisiday, Edwin E. “Gene” (Kelly) Todd, Rebecca “Becky” Todd (Tim “Bo”) Flocker, and Thomas D. “Tucker” Todd; grandchildren Erica Kisiday, Janelle Kisiday (Jimmy) Marshall, Alyssa Kisiday, Jolyn (Ben) Welsh, Zachary Todd, Ian Todd, Kylie Todd, Chelsea Flocker (Adam) Jarosh, Madeleine Todd, Jennifer Todd, and Trevor Todd; and great-grandchildren Millicent and Rosalie Welsh and Camden Jarosh. A private memorial service was held on March 14, 2026, and Evelyn was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Aliquippa. Her love, faith, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
