Evelyn Marie Lewis

Evelyn Marie Lewis, 74, of Jeannette, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Green Health and Rehabilitation. Born on June 28, 1951, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George Patrick and Virginia (Scalese) Forberger.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Forberger Sr. and her sisters Barbara Ann Forberger and Jackie Pollard. She is survived by her husband, John Lewis Sr.; her three sons, Robert Wilson Jr., George Forberger (Ashley Schneider), and John Lewis Jr.; her grandson, Matthew Aaron Wilson; her brother, John Michael Forberger; her sister, Brenda Haynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evelyn lived a life centered on her family, cherishing the bonds she shared with her husband, children, and extended relatives. Her quiet strength and devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
