Evelyn Louise Bullock

Evelyn Louise Holyfield Bullock of Hazen, Arkansas, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on September 29, 1927, in Midwest, Wyoming, to Thomas Marlton and Hester Elizabeth (Kauffman) Holyfield. The family later moved to Prairie County, Arkansas, where Evelyn graduated from DeValls Bluff High School in 1946. She married Malcolm Young Bullock, and the couple made their home in the Center Point community for 60 years until his death in 2007.

A woman of deep faith, Evelyn loved her Lord Jesus Christ and served faithfully for many years as a member and teacher at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. She found joy in gardening, reading, fishing, and especially in the company of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Lucille Holyfield, her husband Malcolm, two grandsons Jason Bullock and Tyson Bullock, and a great-grandson Quinson Bullock. Evelyn is survived by her children, Gary (Barbara) Bullock, Karen (Dwight) Saunders, and Rodney (Sherry) Bullock, all of Hazen, along with seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
