She was born in Victoria, Texas, on March 15, 1938, to the late Robert Herron and Evelyn Williams Herron.Evelyn had a passion for playing cards, bingo, and her family meant the world to her.Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lisa McNary (the late Carlton McNary, Sr.), of Victoria, Texas, and her son, Herbert Calloway, Jr. (Razlin), of San Antonio, Texas; her grandsons, Carlton McNary Jr, Herbert Calloway III, and Joshua Calloway; and numerous great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Herron and Evelyn Williams Herron; her son-in-law, Carlton McNary, Sr.; her siblings, Velma Miller, Vera Herron, Myrtle Herron, Beulah Cook, Dorothy Brown, Vance Herron, Robert Herron, Floyd Herron, and James Herron; as well as her granddaughter, Isha McNary, and great-granddaughter, Olyve McNary.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
