We bid farewell to Evelyn Davis of Washington, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2026 at the age of 90. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Evelyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evelyn. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Al Cleve Davis; her parents, Morris Baxter and Neppie Berry Baxter; and her siblings, Morris Baxter Jr., Jean Ricketts and Bobby Baxter.

She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Wilson (Doug); and her grandson Sam Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and so many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at the Sulphur Cemetery.
