Evelene Wall

Evelene Curtsinger Wall, age 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Washington County, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

Born on July 18, 1938, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Clell C. and Lena Mae Settles Curtsinger. A homemaker, Evelene attended New Life Church in Louisville and devoted herself to her family throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Ray Wall, on November 29, 2020; her sisters, Mary Ruth Curtsinger, Iva Jewell Walls, and Edith Votaw; and her brothers, Rollin Curtsinger, Davis Curtsinger, and Melvin Curtsinger.

Evelene is survived by her seven daughters, Diane Chaney and her husband Patrick of Louisville, Kathy Elstone of Hodgenville, Angela Wall and Star Chandler and her husband Allen of Louisville, Hope Swisher of Taylorsville, Bonnie Sweasy and her husband Rick Stewart, and Robin Garmon of Louisville; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
