She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton John and Anna Janette Cecak (Jans); and her siblings, Vernon Cecak and Vernetta Saffell. She is survived by: her husband Roger E. Knutson; her daughter Kaye Marshall (John) of Lenexa; her grandchildren, Ashlee Teater (Blair) of Overland Park, Kansas, Eric Marshall (Maria) of Roeland Park, Kansas and Laura Kerr (Mitch) of Overland Park, Kansas; her son Kurt Knutson (Leanne) of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Katie Barry (Brogan) of Overland Park and Jack Knutson of Overland Park, Kansas.; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth Teater, Rory Marshall, Rosie and Baker Barry.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2211 Maynard Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
