Eula Ann Nelson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eula Ann Nelson of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Eula Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eula Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hardin and Eunice Hardin; her husband Homer Nelson; her children, Jimmy Nelson and Janice Carver; her siblings, Ralph Hardin and Virginia Webb; and her grandsons, Dwayne Nelson, David Nelson, Darren Nelson and Jeremy Carver. She is also survived by one step granddaughter, one great grandson, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
