Eugene Pearce "Pete" Baugh Jr.

Eugene Pearce “Pete” Baugh Jr., age 80, of Barnesville, Georgia, died on March 12, 2026, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 31, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Eugene Pearce Baugh Sr. and the late Cora Josephine King Baugh, Pete served his country for many years in the United States Air Force. He later worked in the maintenance department at Aldora Mills until his retirement and then continued working at Wal-Mart.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sollenberger Baugh of Barnesville; daughters Susan Partain of Thomaston, Georgia, and Amy Lapratt of Macon, Georgia; sons Chris Baugh of Big Canoe, Georgia, and James Grady McDaniel of Barnesville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Georgia.
