Eugene Lipscomb

Eugene Lipscomb of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, passed away at home on March 9, 2026, at the age of 92, surrounded by his loving family.

A lifelong member of the Congregational Holiness Church, Eugene was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet strength and steadfast faith left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Lipscomb, his parents, his brothers James Mac, Leslie, Fred, Otis, Whit, Ray, and Earl, and his sisters Ophelia Hardy, Velma Pain, and Opal Hooper.

He is survived by his daughters Wanda Murray, Earlene Burke (Danny), and Tina Lipscomb, his son Randy Lipscomb (Connie), seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry forward the love and values he so faithfully lived.
