Eugene Frederick "Gene" Kuhlmann

Gene Kuhlmann of Plymouth and Port Sanilac passed away on March 6, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Gene graduated from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long and fulfilling career at Ford Motor Company, from which he retired in 1996.

He was the beloved husband of Judy and the loving father of Ann Marie (Dave) Cook and Danielle (Bill) Currie. He was the cherished grandfather of Jesse, Madalyn, Jack, Chase, Ana, and Riley. Gene was the dear brother of Gary (Susan) Kuhlmann and brother-in-law of the late George (Susie) Mardiros. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
