He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Spears and Inis Huddleston Spears; and his siblings, Rachel Riley, Vernon Spears, Virgil Spears and Henry Spears.

He is survived by: his sister Hazel Moore of Burkesville, KY..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Burkesville, KY 42717). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
