Esther Olivia Castillo Hernandez, 57, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Juan Angel Garcia Mendoza; her three daughters, Irene, Juana, and Alondra; and her three sons, Juan Angel Jr., Norberto, and Miguel. She also leaves behind several brothers and sisters who will cherish her memory.

Born and raised with deep ties to both Texas and Mexico, Esther lived a life centered on her family. She was a loving wife, a proud mother who poured her heart into raising her six children, and a woman whose quiet strength and warmth touched all who knew her. Her presence brought comfort and unity to her large family, and she will be remembered for the steadfast love she gave to those closest to her.
