Born in Durham County, Mrs. Solomon was the daughter to the late Franklin and Estelle Vaughn Parrish and sister of the late Dorothy Kimrey and Donald Parrish. Mrs. Solomon was a hotel manager and a member of Lea Bethel Baptist Church.Mrs. Solomon is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve Solomon; four children, Donna Rose (Philip), of Roxboro, Chuck Stewart (Nancy), of Stem, Steven Stewart (Carla Wells), of Semora and Brian Stewart (Charlene), of Wake Forest; one brother, Jerry Parrish (Faye), of Henderson; one sister, Daphine Carse (Jim), of Shelby; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends at anytime at the home.
