Ernest Grover Hinson

Ernest Grover Hinson, age 68, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melody Brazil; his father, James Edward Hinson; his mother, Francis Ida Hall; and his brothers, Tim Kelly Hinson, Donald Buddy Hinson, and James Randy Hinson.

He is survived by his brothers, Richard Michael Hinson and Larry Eugene Hinson; his stepchildren, Melissa Brazil, Pamela and Omar Arguello, David and Adyrenne Brazil, and Roger and Carmen Brazil-Martinez; his step-grandchildren, Heather and Michael, Marisela, Omar and Jaylin, Jasmine, Steven, Skylar, Gabriella, and Melino; and his step-great-grandchildren, Ayden, Ethan, Elianna, Easton, Esmae, Adeline, and Matteo.

Those who knew Ernest knew he was one of a kind. A gifted cook and chef, he was a devoted friend, brother, son, partner, and the best dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa anyone could ask for. He was always ready to lend a hand, loving and supportive, quick to make others laugh, yet strong and steady when needed. His presence was a true blessing, and he will be forever missed and never forgotten.
