Ernest Dell Cook Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Dell Cook Sr. (Austin, Texas), born in Bertram, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Ernest is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ernest's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ware and Martha Alma Cook; and his sisters, Martha Sue and Scharlotte Ann. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Nell McKamie; and his sisters, Sandra Webster and Debbie Craft.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Promiseland Chapel (1504 E 51st St, Austin, TX 78723).
