Eric Winger Frey

Eric Winger Frey, 66, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2026. Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, he was the son of the late Glenn and Beth Frey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pronita Atuel Frey; his daughter, Katlyn Frey of Los Angeles, California, wife of Ben Steele; and his son, Collin Frey of Los Angeles, California. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Seamus Theodore and Maura Mae.

Eric is further survived by his three sisters: Laureen Ginder of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, wife of Stephen Ginder; Mary Frey of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; and Heather Heagy of Conestoga, Pennsylvania, wife of Steven Heagy. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and his longtime friends Mike, Brad, and Curt.

A lifelong learner, Eric faithfully read National Geographic from cover to cover. He found joy in biking, hiking, cooking, gardening, and woodworking, and he leaves behind many warm memories of time well spent with those he loved.
