Born in Chicago on December 31, 1965 to Manfred and Annette Ruf Gursch, Eric spent his life in the Chicago area. He worked as a manager for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Chicago, where he was known for his steady presence and dedication.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manfred and Annette Gursch of Skokie. Eric is remembered as the fond nephew of Rudolph Knapp and Werner Ruf, and the dear cousin of Kevin Knapp.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a future date.
