Eric George Morgan, Sr

Eric George Morgan Sr. died at the age of 77 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He served two years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and later worked for many years as a welder at the Carrier Corporation. Eric earned two bachelor’s degrees in art studies from Syracuse University, one of them in photography. A collector of memories, he cherished the moments and images that told the stories of his life and the lives of those he loved.

He is survived by his sister, Eva Grist-Raymond, his daughter Melanie Bowers and her husband Michael, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Eric was predeceased by his son, Eric George Morgan Jr.

He will be laid to rest at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in a small family ceremony.
