Emmanuel Paul Mackrides

Emmanuel Paul Mackrides, known affectionately as Mike, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 68 in Sanford, Florida. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 31, 1957, to Theodore (Ted) and Estelle (Bratsis) Mackrides, Mike built a life defined by hard work, integrity, and quiet strength.

For many years, he worked in the construction industry, where his dedication, strong work ethic, and pride in his craft earned the respect of those around him. Beyond the structures he helped create, Mike formed lasting friendships with the people who worked alongside him, bonds that reflected his genuine and steadfast character.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cyndi, in September 2020, with whom he shared 20 wonderful years of marriage, and by their son, Michael Kosmin, in 2003. Mike is survived by his older brother, Simeon (wife Toula), his younger brother, Stephen (wife Katrina), and a large, loving family including nieces Alexandra Mackrides (husband Alex Homer), Sophia Mackrides, Ryann Colan, Cameron Colan, Ashley Martucci (husband Paul), and Rachel Colan; nephews Evan Mackrides (wife Melissa), Stephen Mackrides (wife Melanie), and Nick Colan; grand-nephew Lucas Mackrides; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
