Emma Jane Gann

Emma Jane Gann, age 65, of Strawberry Plains, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at LeConte Medical Center.

Born to Reva Hubbard Bailey and Richard McNish, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Gann; her sons, Robert McNish and Mark McNish; and her sisters, Dorothy Louise McDaniel and Shirley Cain. She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family remained steadfast throughout her life.

Emma is survived by her grandchildren, Tori Romines (Ethan), Summer McNish, and Natalie McNish; her sisters, Betty Davison and Gracie Brooks; her nephews, Charles and Dallas Davison; and many other cherished nieces and nephews who will carry forward the warmth and connection she shared with them all.

The family gathered at Valley View Cemetery for a graveside service on Friday, March 13th.
