Emma Baudanza, 85, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply.
Born on August 19, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Charles and Emma Costello, Emma met the love of her life, Ronald Baudanza, during a summer vacation on Staten Island at South Beach. What began as a summer romance blossomed into a lifelong partnership. She and Ronald married on January 6, 1962, and together raised their four children, building a life rooted in family, devotion, and unwavering love.
Emma found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking and gathering her family around the table, tending her garden, riding her bike, hunting for treasures at yard sales, and spending time outdoors. She especially treasured summers at the family’s Pocono Lake house. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being with her family; her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Predeceased by her parents, her brother Chuck and sister Beryl, and her beloved son Christopher Baudanza, Emma is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Ronald Baudanza; her sons Ron Baudanza and his wife Lynn, and Daniel Baudanza; and her daughter Ann Barba and her husband Robert. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Alyssa, Kayla, and Vincent Barba, Nicholette and Christopher Baudanza, and Sophia and Grace Baudanza. She will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love she held for her family, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories that will live on in all who knew and loved her.
