Emily Moser

Emily JoAn Moser was born on February 8, 2006, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised on the family farm outside of Woodbine, Iowa, and moved with her family to Modale, Iowa in 2014. She graduated in 2024.

Emily possessed a deep love of anime that sparked her imagination and gave her a unique window into storytelling and art. Her drawing was far more than a hobby; it was a true expression of her soul. Her animals held a special place in her heart, reflecting her gentle and compassionate nature. She is deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit remains forever in the hearts of those she touched.

Emily lost her hard-fought battle with mental illness on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 20 years and 26 days.

She is survived by her mother, Leslie Moser of Modale; father, Jesse Moser of Oakland, Nebraska; sister, Jessica and her husband Edgar Zamarripa of Fremont, Nebraska; half brother and sister, Nevaeh and Warren of Omaha, Nebraska; four nieces; six nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
