Elwanda June West

Elwanda June West, age 88, of Christian County, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Born on October 6, 1937, in Christian County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Lee and Beatrice King Lee.

A lifelong homemaker and devoted member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church, Elwanda lived a quiet life centered on her family and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben George West, in 1998, her daughters Robbie Darlene West and Kathy Blake, her great-granddaughter Savannah Gloyd, and her brother Paul King.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Good and Vicky Gloyd, both of Hopkinsville; her sister, Linda Allison of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren, Jonathan Good, Stacy Blake Jaseph, and Samantha West; and seven great-grandchildren, Sean Dulin, Makayla Ward, Sylas Good, Cheyenne Ward, Landyn Dulin, Kole Hutchison, and Bayleigh Dulin.
