Elvis spent many years as a deep-sea fisherman, a vocation that exemplified his connection to nature and his spirit. Beyond his professional pursuits, he cherished time with his family, relishing moments of laughter and love. He was known for his warmth and generosity, famously embodying the phrase "would give you the shirt off his back." Those who knew him will remember his big heart and his even bigger smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Elvis enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family through activities such as playing Bingo, cards, bowling, and attending the races at the Kentucky Derby and the Oaks. These vibrant memories stand as a testament to his spirited nature and zest for life.

Elvis loved the Lord and sharing precious moments with his family. He also enjoyed the skills he developed through hunting and fishing, which he was able to do in his free time.

Elvis is survived by his daughters, Joni (Kevin) House, and Shannon Allen; sons, Jeremiah J Combs, Johnnie L Combs, and Joshua Burkhead; twin sister, Connie Stivers, sisters, Mary J (Jerry) Boucher, Rita (Arthur)  Veda Cash; and grandchildren, Isaiah M McDowell, Elayna Combs, and Tristan Combs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Ollie (Sizemore) Combs; son, Justin A Combs; brother, Ralph Coda and his wife Barb; sisters, Armina Cole and Zola Lee; and grandchild, Nevaeh Combs.

Elvis Combs will be remembered as a man who touched the lives of many, and his legacy will live on through the love he shared and the memories created with those he held dear.
