Stewart Jr., known to family and friends as Bud, Buddy, or Budward, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Jamestown, New York, at the age of 76. He was born on October 12, 1949, in West Virginia.Elvin enjoyed music and spent many years playing in bands and jamming with friends and family. He also enjoyed reading books and watching films, especially movies from film festivals.He is survived by his brother, Bob Stewart, and Bob's wife, Marge; his children, Aaron A. Stewart and his spouse Brittney Senske, Erica Hendrickson and her spouse Aaron Hendrickson, Jessica Riddle, and Ryan Murray; and his grandchildren: Serenity, Castiel, and Laila Stewart; Mikelle Davis, Nicholas Elardo, Erinlynn, Aniah, and Aaron Hendrickson II; and Gus and Lily Riddle, children of Jessica Riddle.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida May Stewart and Elvin A. Stewart Sr.; his wife, Mary Jean Stewart; his brothers, Donald Stewart and John Taylor; and his sisters, Cathy Solock and Linda Stewart.He will be remembered for his love of music and the time he spent sharing it with those around him.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
