Elsie Becker

Elsie A. Becker, 96, of Denver, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Keystone Villa.

Born in Allentown to Josef and Rose (Dominek) Windish, Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Becker, Sr., who passed away in 2023. A devoted Catholic and longtime member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ephrata, she found great joy in family gatherings and playing cards. Those who knew her cherished her feisty personality, strong will, and deep convictions. She took special pride in her Austrian heritage and treasured her visits to Austria to see relatives.

Elsie is survived by her six children, Elaine M. Miller and her husband Charles, Brenda G. Gensemer and her husband Michael, Robert E. Becker, Jr. and his wife Brenda, Joseph C. Becker and his wife Connie, Heidi T. Showalter and her husband Dean, and Daniel J. Becker and his wife Marnie; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her five siblings, Joseph Windish, Rose Sweigart, Margaret Rutter, Dorothy Crouse, and Robert Windish.
