Elsie A. (Carney) DiSandro

(100) formerly of Narragansett, RI died March 12, 2026 at her home in Venice, FL. The daughter of the late Edward J. and Elsie S. (Harper) Carney, she was born on January 2, 1926, in Providence, RI. Elsie’s siblings, Edward J. Carney, Jr., Raymond A. Carney and Ellen Phyllis Paterson all predeceased her.

Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Domenic A. DiSandro, Jr. Elsie is survived by her children, Gayle F. Tarzwell (Thomas), Donna J. Healy (Keith dec’d), Debra A. DiSandro (Heuser) and Domenic A. DiSandro, III (Noreen), ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are respectively omitted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 27, 2026 at 10AM at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, RI and streamed at the church’s website: https://stthomasmoreri.org/parish/podcasts/

Burial will be private.
