She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pearson and Wyona Myers Pearson; her husband Jack Edward Moss; and her siblings, Larry Pearson and Evelyn Black.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie Riley of Brunswick, GA, Warren Moss of Gastonia, NC and Ann Johnson (Scott) of Kings Mountain, NC; her brothers, Eddie Black and Reece Black; her sister-in-law Shirley Pearson; and her grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Katy Moss and Laura Moss. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church (308 York Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
