Elna Stepp

Elna Brown Stepp, age 96, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on August 31, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Reedy and Eunice Robinson. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Elna was deeply rooted in her community and cherished her role as a cornerstone of her family and church.

For many years, she and her husband, Marvin, operated W.O. Stepp and Sons Old Country Store in Noah, Tennessee, carrying forward a family legacy begun by her father-in-law. An active and faithful member of Bell Springs United Methodist Church in Noah, Elna found quiet joy in sewing, crocheting, canning, and taking long walks with Marvin. She also looked forward to her weekly gatherings with friends at Bell Springs, where she enjoyed playing games and sharing fellowship.

Elna was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Marvin Stepp, whom she married in the early 1960s. She is survived by her son, Curtis Galon; her daughter, Lynette Bennett, and husband Cameron; two brothers and one sister; her two grandchildren, Charity and Charles Bennett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
