It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elman Otis McGlasson in Nashville, Tennessee, born in Moline, Kansas, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo McGlasson (Freeman); his parents, W. H. McGlasson and Cora Dolly McGlasson; his siblings, John McGlasson (Paulette), Delbert McGlasson and Nedra Giles; his siblings-in-law, Larry Trotter and Pat McGlasson; his son Michael McGlasson; and his grandson Marshal McGlasson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert McGlasson of Bartlesville, Carl McGlasson of Overbrook, Kansas and Dixie Trotter of Winfield, Kansas; his sister-in-law Diane McGlasson of Kilgore, Texas.; his children, Bruce McGlasson and Linda Foster; and his foster son Billy Miller. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204).
