Ellis Calno Collier, 85, of Liberty, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on July 10, 1940, Calno was a hard-working, honest, and humorous man whose steady presence, laughter, and warmth touched everyone around him.
An Army veteran, he worked as a pipefitter for more than 30 years in Pasadena, Texas. He took quiet pride in showing up each day, doing his job well, and sharing a good laugh with those beside him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Myra Daughty, and his parents, Bedford Collier and Mae Daigle.
Calno is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lou Anna; his daughter Yvonne and her wife Connie Windham; his son Kenneth and his wife Alicia; grandsons Dustin Manuel and Chance Collier; granddaughter Amanda Albert; great-grandsons Tristian Bird, Christopher Coyle, and Dusty Manuel; and great-granddaughter Stella Albert.
