Flossmoor, IL

Elliot Paul Rudolph, born on May 1, 1947 to Sam and Jeanette Rudolph, passed away on March 6, 2026 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. A native of Queens, New York, he lived in New York City, Hollywood, California, Paramus, New Jersey, Delray Beach, Florida, and spent his final years with family in Flossmoor, Illinois.

Elliot was a devoted father to his three sons, Jason Rudolph of Flossmoor, Illinois, Dustin Rudolph of Homewood, Illinois, and Kevin Rudolph of Montague, New Jersey, and a cherished father-in-law to AJ, Blythe, and Kristina. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Mason, Max, Harrison, Liam, Sigrid, and Molly. He is also survived by his brother Robert Rudolph of Florida and his beloved African Grey parrot, Lalo.

He took over the family business, Rudi’s Pottery, Silver & China in Paramus, New Jersey, which he operated successfully for more than thirty years. In his spare time he became a successful real estate investor. A dedicated supporter of police and first responders, Elliot was deeply honored in the mid-1990s with an honorary lifetime membership in the Paramus, New Jersey Policeman’s Benevolent Association Local 186.

Those who knew Elliot will remember him as an accomplished storyteller, a true giver who was always ready to share whatever he had with anyone in need, and a man who loved traveling the world and spending time with his family. He will be forever missed by his children, grandchildren, brother, and all who were fortunate to call him friend.
