Ellinor Mae Warner of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on May 14, 1942, in Dighton, Massachusetts, the youngest daughter of Elwood and Harriet (Carr) Bullock. Ellinor grew up on Cape Cod, where she attended school and graduated from high school.
In 1963, she married Larry Warner, a young sailor, and together they moved to Michigan, where they built a life and raised their family. Ellinor worked for many years as a secretary for the State of Michigan, retiring in the early 2000s, while also enjoying her role as an Avon sales representative. She had a lifelong love of horses and spent many happy years raising and breeding them while her children were young. She found quiet joy in Friday night fish fries, working on puzzles, playing board games with family and friends, and reading from her impressive personal library.
A caregiver at heart, Ellinor generously volunteered as a foster care provider and remained deeply devoted to her family throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Sr., her daughter Sue Ann Warner, her daughter-in-law Juanita Warner, and her five sisters. Ellinor is survived by her son, Larry Warner Jr.; her grandchildren, Teri Warner, Shawn Warner, Nichole (Jeremy) Hartman, and Larry (Jenna) Warner III; her great-grandchildren, Owen and Audrey Hartman; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
