Born on December 30, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Elliana left us on March 6, 2026, but her spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her most.In her short time with us, Elliana illuminated the world around her with her joyful laughter and bright smile. She delighted in the simple pleasures of life-dancing to the joyful tunes of Ms. Rachel, running and swinging blissfully at the park, and nestling closely in the warm embrace of loved ones. She had a special knack for drawing people near, always reaching up for a comforting hug. Her love for her newly acquired rocking chair brought her endless joy, as she transformed it into a magical space where she could gather her toys and rock back and forth, creating her own little world of wonder.Elliana leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, cherished by her devoted parents, Nathan Bankhead and Lauren Hopkins. She will also be deeply missed by her grandparents: Lynn Dole, Kevin Hopkins, Kevin Bankhead, and Leticia Montez; great-grandparents: Dennis and Midge Dole, Dale (Valerie) Hopkins, Stephanie Hopkins, and Pandora Bankhead; and great-great-grandparents: Grace Dole and Pauline Jerkewitz. The warmth of her spirit will be remembered fondly by her aunts and uncles: Mark, Carter, Kam, and Karmen Bankhead, Bella and Natalia Ruffin, Aubrey, Conner, and Brandon Hopkins, Alex (Alexis Offill) Johnson, Jennifer Cribbet, Kristen Conway, and Tara and Devin Schweitzer.Family and friends will gather to honor Elliana's life with a visitation at Brater Winter Funeral Home in Harrison on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM. A private family funeral service will follow on Monday, March 16, 2026, with burial following at St. John Catholic Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brater Winter Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs, inviting all who knew Elliana to celebrate her life and the joy she brought into our world.Though her time with us was fleeting, Elliana's light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, reminding us of the beauty of love, connection, and cherished moments.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
