Ella Sue Daugherty

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ella Sue Daugherty of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Isaac Pope and Bessie Lee Hayes Pope; her husband Junior Daugherty; and her son Billy Wayne Daugherty. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Daugherty, Martha Reynolds (Stan) and Beverly Pendergrass (Larry); her siblings, Eldon Pope (Elsie) and Grace Nelson; her grandchildren, Shannon Pendergrass (Brittany) and Leah Pinkston (Keith); and her great grandchildren, Brynley Pinkston, Andrew Pinkston, Emilia Pendergrass, Nicholas Redmond, Preston Redmond, Natalie Roden Smith, Brody Roden and Chad Lyons.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centre First Baptist Church Building Fund or Plunkett Cemetery.
