Ella Marie Govreau

The passing of Ella Marie Govreau of Farmington, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Hartwick and Anna Marie Hartwick (Silvey); her children, JoAnn Govreau and Melvin Govreau Jr.; her grandson Jason Furry; her great grandchild Dusty Howlett; her siblings, Edward "Bud" Hartwick, Gilbert "Nooner" Hartwick Jr., Elsie Louise Barnes, Helen Irene Hartwick and Ruthie Bucholtz (late Floyd); and her brother-in-law Carl Carrow.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin "Joe" Govreau; her daughters, Vickie Sue Baumgartner of Farmington and Darlene Furry (Larry) of Farmington; her sister Nellie Carrow of Piedmont; and her sister-in-law Margie Ewing of Chesterfield. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cozean Memorial Chapel (217 W Columbia St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery Upkeep Fund.
