Elizeida Perez De Sandoval

Elizeida Perez De Sandoval peacefully entered eternal rest on March 8, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by love in her home in Gilroy, California. With her daughter by her side, she received a priest’s blessing and the holy oils before passing gently, as her daughter Maria and son-in-law Fernando Castaneda prayed over her.

Born on September 26, 1950, in Rancho El Izote, La Yesca, Nayarit, Mexico, to Jose Guadalupe Perez and Maria Guadalupe Diaz, Elizeida was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Beatriz P. Sandoval. She is survived by her husband Porfirio Sandoval, her daughter Maria Sandoval, her son-in-law Fernando Castaneda, and her beloved grandson Carlos Emmanuel Sandoval, who filled her life with pride and joy. She is also survived by her five siblings: Isidro, Clemente, Celedonio, Inez, and Olivia.

A loving mother and deeply devoted grandmother, Elizeida centered her life on caring for her family. She treasured every moment with her grandson Carlos Emmanuel and found great happiness in watching him grow. Known for her quiet and noble spirit, she lived with deep faith, kindness, wisdom, humility, and purpose. She showed remarkable courage in overcoming breast cancer in 2019 and facing lymphoma with grace and quiet strength in her final two years.

Coming from humble beginnings, Elizeida worked hard alongside her husband. She expressed her love through cooking, preparing fresh cheese, handmade corn tortillas, refried bean tacos, and enchiladas that brought family and friends to her table. She tended her roses with care and welcomed visitors with warm hospitality, ensuring no one left empty-handed. Her kindness, humility, and loving spirit touched everyone she met, leaving a legacy of faith and family that will endure.
