She was predeceased by: her husbands, Archie Poppell and Leonard Williams; and her brothers, Fred Browning and James Browning. She is survived by: her son Randy Poppell (Nicole) of Darien; her sisters, Betty Schmid (Ron) of Darien and Carolyn Rountree (Billy) of Springfield; and her great grandchild Colsen Moody. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townsend Baptist Church (1231 Church Of God Rd NW, Townsend, GA 31331). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the St. Andrews Cemetery.
