Elizabeth Kaffenberger

Elizabeth “Betty” Kaffenberger, 97, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Bastrop. Born on November 14, 1928, Betty dedicated 65 years of faithful service to the University of St. Thomas, leaving a lasting impact through her commitment and hard work.

She is remembered for her quiet strength, loyalty, and the many lives she touched during her long career. Betty’s devotion to the university reflected a deep sense of purpose and care that defined her character.

She is survived by her family and by the countless colleagues and friends who benefited from her steadfast presence. In her honor, memorial donations may be made to the Wayne Kaffenberger Endowment at the University of St. Thomas.
