Elizabeth June "Liz" Middlecamp

Passed March 9, 2026

Muskegon, MI

Elizabeth June “Liz” Middlecamp, age 95, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on June 1, 1930, in Muskegon, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Ristway) Pavlich and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

In 1952, Liz married Kenneth E. Middlecamp in Muskegon. Their marriage lasted until his death in 1982. She worked for many years in the shipping and receiving department at Mills Manufacturing before retiring. A true social butterfly, Liz cherished evenings spent dancing or playing cards with family and friends. She looked forward each year to her winters as a snowbird in Florida, where she embraced the sunshine. Warm and affectionate, she greeted everyone with a request for a hug and a cup of coffee. Creatively gifted, Liz expressed her love through the beautiful quilts she made for those dear to her. She lived life fully and with great joy.

She is survived by her four children, Janice Lichty, Vicki (Dan) Nohrden, Doug (Cheryl) Middlecamp, and Bruce (Terise) Middlecamp; nine grandchildren, Melissa Gilleece, Lisa Emery, Kimberly Morse, Derek Middlecamp, Andrew Middlecamp, Drake Middlecamp, Joshua Lichty, and Jeremiah Ostradick; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Karen Gilleece, her granddaughter Michelle Wierenga, and her nine brothers and sisters.

A private family service will be held, and Liz will be laid to rest beside her husband, Kenneth, in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
