Fluehr III Funeral Home, Inc. - Richboro website to view the full obituary.Elizabeth Joanne Eife, 96, of Newtown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Masonic Village of Warminster, PA.Affectionately known as "Joanne" or "Jo", she was born in Harrisburg, PA, and was the daughter of the late William Steckley and Helen Haulman Steckley. She was the beloved wife to her late husband Edward F. Eife.Joanne met the love of her life, Ed, on the ski slopes of Vermont. They fell in love, married soon after and raised their four children in Northeast Philadelphia. Joanne created a home filled with love, warmth and devotion. She was an active member of the reunion committee of Palmyra High School and a member of the Eastern Star. In her retirement years, she and Ed moved to Wrightstown, PA where they spent time creating lasting memories. Together they enjoyed the outdoors, flea marketing, and time with family and friends.Joanne had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. You could always count on her to belt out oldies and show tunes never missing a note. She especially enjoyed listening to Josh Groban, going to concerts and Broadway shows. She enjoyed crafting, baking, shopping, spending time at the Jersey shore, and dancing the afternoons away. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She held a special place in her heart for her two nieces, Jo and Patty and good friend Mike. Joanne truly left a lasting impression on everyone she met.Elizabeth Joanne is predeceased by her dear son Mark of Philadelphia, PA, she is survived by her loving children, daughter-in-law Joyce of Philadelphia, PA, Greg (Michele) of Chalfont, PA, Brian (Lucy) of Holland, PA, Lori Cloud (Jerry) of Richboro, PA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, relatives, many nieces, nephews, and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:30pm and her Funeral Service immediately following at 12:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Eagles Autism Foundation or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.Read The Full Obituary
