Elizabeth Jenkins

Elizabeth Jenkins, née Kennedy, 92, of Paramus, passed away on March 13, 2026. Beloved daughter of the late William and Jeannette Kennedy, née Foley, she graduated from St. Brendan’s High School in Brooklyn, New York, and went on to study at St. John’s University. She worked as an executive secretary for NBC, Marcal, and MWW before becoming a real estate agent, broker, and partner with Delta Real Estate in Maywood, New Jersey.

Devoted wife of the late Robert Jenkins, she was the loving mother of Robert W. Jenkins and his wife Suzanne, William Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins and his late wife Shannon, and Karl Jenkins. She was the cherished grandmother of Robert, Michele, Colin, and Cassie. Elizabeth was predeceased by her sister, Jane Kennedy, and her brother, Daniel Kennedy.

Known to many as Betty, she was a generous and thoughtful woman who was always ready to help family and friends. Intelligent and insightful, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading novels. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren, caring for them after school, attending yoga classes and swimming exercises at the YMCA with Michele, playing cards with Bob, and swimming with Colin and Cassie. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
