Elizabeth Fulton "Beth" Stoughton

Elizabeth Fulton "Beth" Stoughton

July 13, 1944 March 8, 2026

Salley, SC

Elizabeth “Beth” Fulton Stoughton, 81, of Salley, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 10:20 a.m., with her devoted husband, Mark, by her side.

Born on July 13, 1944, Beth was the daughter of Dub and Edith Fulton. One of ten siblings in a large, close-knit family, she was shaped by the love and values of her humble, God-loving parents. For many years she served her community as a Postal Clerk, bringing steadiness and kindness to her work until renal failure forced her to retire early. A lifesaving kidney transplant from her sister Rebecca “Becky” Fulton granted her nearly three more decades of life, which she filled with purpose, partnership, and quiet determination.

After the transplant, Beth joined her husband Mark in their printing-equipment troubleshooting and repair business. She worked faithfully beside him until her health no longer permitted. Beth and Mark shared fifty years of marriage, a bond defined by unwavering devotion, loyalty, and companionship. In her final hours she was surrounded by those she loved, including her sister Becky and dear friends Luke Luesing, Emil Colin IV, his wife Jeana, and their baby Eden.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Dub and Edith Fulton, and by four siblings: brothers Jimmy, Bobby, and Larry Fulton, and sister Deborah Fulton. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark; brothers Wylie, Gene, and Danny Fulton; sisters Norma Sue Thompson and Rebecca “Becky” Fulton; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who cherished her deeply.

Her life was defined not by grand gestures, but by the steady, enduring love she gave so freely. That love remains in the hearts of all who knew her, especially in the steadfast devotion she shared with Mark.
