She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael L. Capel; her sons, Ryan Capel (Danielle Capel), Conner Capel (Ashton Capel) and Tyler Capel (Bailey Vandomelen); her sister Barbara Graeter; her sister-in-law Amy Oliphint; her pet Liz; her parents, Helmut Graeter and Hildegard Graeter; Roxy and Wrigley. She was also cherished by many extended family members and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kingsland Campus St. Peter's United Methodist Church (20775 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77450). A committal service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
