Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Poussier

Elizabeth Ann Poussier, known affectionately as Betty, was born on August 25, 1935, in Dickinson, North Dakota, the second of four siblings. She moved to Seattle as a young girl and made the city her home for the rest of her life. Betty passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, at the age of 90.

Betty’s life was defined by her deep nurturing spirit. She devoted herself to raising her five children, caring for her grandchildren, and operating a neighborhood daycare where every child felt safe and loved. Her warmth and steady presence touched countless young lives throughout the decades.

For 61 years, she shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Dale. Their enduring love and partnership formed the strong foundation for the family they built together.

Betty is survived by her husband, Dale; three children; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Though her later years were marked by dementia, her family remembers her for the decades of caring warmth and love she gave so freely.
