Elizabeth Ann Missey

Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Missey, 68, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 1, 1958, in East St. Louis, Illinois, Beth graduated from Collinsville High School in 1976. She attended Belleville Area College and built a long and dedicated career as a respiratory therapist and sleep lab technician, serving hospitals across Illinois, Missouri, and California.

Beth found deep joy in the company of her family and friends. She had a lifelong love for animals and took great pleasure in crafting, especially knitting and weaving. Those who knew her will remember her strength, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Missey, and her grandparents, Louis and Elizabeth (French) Best and Wilburn and Bessie (Sansoucie) Missey. Beth is survived by her devoted mother, Beverly (née Best) Missey; her sister, Vicki (Larry) Reulecke; her nephews, Brian (Emily) Reulecke and Matthew (Amy) Reulecke; her great-nephew, Evan Reulecke; and a large extended family who will carry her memory with love.
