Elizabeth Ann Hite, 92, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, formerly of Salem, Illinois, passed away on March 11, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare Hospital in Dyersburg. Born on August 11, 1933, in Xenia, Illinois, she was the daughter of Clyde Campbell Harmon and Iva Elizabeth Fatheree Harmon. She married Carl Eugene Hite on June 10, 1951, and they shared 51 years of marriage until his death.

Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Salem, Illinois, and belonged to the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria E. Meador and son-in-law Eldon of Newbern, Tennessee; her sister-in-law, Blanche Harmon of Midlothian, Virginia; three grandchildren, Mylissa Meador Clark and husband Blake of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Clint E. Meador and wife Carol Beth of Newbern, Tennessee, and Elizabeth R. White and husband Aaron of McLeansboro, Illinois; seven great-grandchildren, Grace Clark and fiancé Clint Perkins of Jacksonville, Florida, Kameron Clark and Graham Clark of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Mason Meador and fiancé Hallie Sherrill, Morgan Meador of Ridgely, Tennessee, Caden Meador of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Kelsi Gains of McLeansboro, Illinois; and her niece, Laura Jane Shreffler and husband Don of Amelia, Virginia.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl E. Hite, her son Carl L. Hite, and her grandson Carl E. L. Hite.
