She was born on January 24, 2015, in Boynton Beach, to her loving parents, Andre Faria and Meire Cristina (Santos). From the very beginning, Eliza's life was filled with joy, laughter, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone around her. A brave, kind and fearless girl, Eliza resided in Plano, Texas, where she attended Christie Elementary School, filling her days with wonder and curiosity.Music was one of Eliza's greatest joys. Whether singing in choir or performing musicals, she shone brightly, bringing warmth and happiness to every performance. Eliza had a love for animals, particularly for the majestic wolves. At home, she treasured time with her family. Eliza loved playing with her siblings, working on fun and imaginative science projects with her dad, and sharing sweet, meaningful moments with her mom. She also found happiness in biking adventures exploring new places and trails. Eliza also embraced the focus and discipline she learned through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.Eliza's love was boundless. She was a devoted daughter, a caring sister, a cherished granddaughter, and sweetest friend. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and the love she gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.Eliza is lovingly remembered and survived by her father, Andre Faria of The Colony; her mother, Meire Cooksey and her husband, Kenny, of Plano, Texas; her sisters, Julia Faria and Laura Faria; her brother, Kellan Cooksey; her grandparents, Rosely Alcantara and Xavier Nunes of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Angela Zanco of Dallas, Texas; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Juarez Santos.A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 prior to the service.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
