Elissa Nichole Garcia

Elissa Nichole Garcia, age 13, of Charlotte, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on June 15, 2012, she was a bright and creative young girl who found joy in art, spending countless hours drawing and expressing her vivid imagination. Her artistic talent brought light and happiness to everyone around her.

Elissa loved the outdoors, especially swimming with her family and exploring creeks on family adventures filled with laughter. She had a special affection for cats and cherished quiet moments at home playing Roblox with her brother, creating memories that reflected her sweet and playful spirit.

She is survived by her parents, Brian and Shelley Garcia of Charlotte, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Esteban and Mary Sanchez of Griffin, Georgia; paternal grandmother, Mary Priscilla Garcia of Charlotte, Tennessee; brothers, Bailey Brian Garcia and Hayden Anthony Garcia of Charlotte; and aunts and uncles Taleshia Garcia, Tammy Harstad (Mike), Sheila Golden (Carl), Jimmy Brightman (Dana), and Steven Sanchez (Lynsi), along with many other loving family members and friends.

Elissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Sanchez; paternal grandfather, Barry Garcia; and aunt, Holly Jones. She will be remembered for her creativity, her gentle and loving nature, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.
